By accessing or using RemoveBGVideo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting.
2. Age Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to create an account, purchase credits, or use the Service. The Service is not directed to minors. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe it is being used by a minor.
3. Description of Service
RemoveBGVideo provides AI-powered video background removal services. Users can upload videos, remove backgrounds using our automated processing, and download the processed results. The Service includes preview features and paid processing options.
4. User Accounts
To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content
You agree NOT to use the Service to upload, process, generate, submit, or distribute content that violates this Acceptable Use Policy.
- Content that is illegal or infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights
- Pornographic, sexually explicit, obscene, fetish, or other adult-only content, including content intended to facilitate regulated adult services
- Any sexual, exploitative, abusive, grooming, or otherwise inappropriate content involving or appearing to involve a minor; child sexual abuse material is strictly prohibited
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, voyeuristic content, or content created or shared without the depicted person's permission
- Graphic bloodshed, torture, extreme violence, glorification of violence, threats, harassment, humiliation, or degrading treatment
- Hateful or discriminatory content targeting race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or another protected characteristic
- Politically sensitive content, including unlawful political content, political deception, voter manipulation, or materially misleading synthetic media about public officials, candidates, elections, or civic processes
- Realistic impersonation, deepfakes, or manipulated media likely to deceive people about a real person's identity, words, or actions, including unauthorized celebrity impersonation
- Fraud, scams, identity theft, phishing, deceptive advertising, or other misleading or abusive conduct
- Upload videos containing malware or harmful code
- Attempt to bypass security measures or abuse the system
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Process content that violates privacy rights of others
We may block, suspend, or remove content and accounts that violate these restrictions. We may also use automated moderation and manual review to enforce this policy and to comply with payment processor, legal, and platform requirements.
6. Content Ownership
Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the videos you upload. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and technology, is owned by RemoveBGVideo and protected by intellectual property laws.
7. Payment Terms
- Credits are purchased on a pay-as-you-go basis
- Prices are displayed in USD and subject to change
- All payments are processed securely through Subotiz
- Credits do not expire once purchased
- Refund eligibility and procedures are described in our Refund Policy
8. Refund Policy
Refunds are not automatic and depend on the reason for the request, the amount of credits used, and applicable law. Our standalone Refund Policy explains eligibility, exclusions, request requirements, review timing, and how approved refunds are returned. The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REMOVEBGVIDEO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ERROR-FREE.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RemoveBGVideo and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. API Usage
If you use our API, you additionally agree to:
- Comply with our API documentation and rate limits
- Keep your API keys confidential
- Not abuse or overload our systems
- Credit RemoveBGVideo when required
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
For users located in mainland China, these Terms and any dispute arising from the Service are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first attempt to resolve a dispute through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved, either party may submit it to a People's Court with competent jurisdiction under PRC law.
For users outside mainland China, these Terms are governed by the laws that are mandatorily applicable to the Service and the user. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.
